This event raised £238.14 today, all proceeds will go towards supporting the charity ‘Choose Love’. This charity provides humanitarian aid to, and advocacy for, refugees around the world. Thank you to all sixth formers, HAR students and staff who have supported today!

The STEM lecture was delivered by Dr. Stephen Price and explored methods of understanding the human brain, while the humanities lecture was led by Dr. Michael Loy and looked at theatrical performance in Ancient Greece.

These taster sessions aim to provide students, who are applying to HRSF, with an insight into the subject at A-Level. The session will delve into a topic on the A-Level course and allow students to experience the content which they will be studying beyond GCSE.

Business (Vocational)

Our technical qualification in Business (OCR Business Extended/Diploma - Cambridge Technical) develops students’ core skills and understanding of the requirements of the business sector.

Students have the opportunity to focus on specific topics such as human resources, marketing, accounting and business planning.

OCR Cambridge Technical Business Studies provides a comprehensive and practical understanding of the intricate dynamics of the contemporary business environment. This course is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive in a rapidly evolving global marketplace. Students delve into various aspects of business management, including marketing, finance, human resources, and operations, and develop a nuanced understanding of the interplay between these functions.

Through hands-on case studies and practical application of theoretical concepts, students develop a deep insight into the challenges and opportunities faced by businesses of all sizes. They explore the importance of innovation and digital technologies in modern business operations, preparing them to navigate the ever-changing landscape of digital commerce and entrepreneurship.
