UEL sports science visit

Year 12 Sports Certificate/Diploma and A-Level PE students took part in an educational visit to the University of East London, focused on applying knowledge from sports anatomy and physiology in a real university setting. During the visit, students engaged in practical sport field and laboratory testing, gaining hands-on experience of how physiological data is collected and analysed to support athletic performance. Students also explored the university’s Sports and Exercise Science courses and learned about Sports Coaching degree pathways, including opportunities supported by West Ham United Football Club. The trip provided valuable insight into higher education study, career pathways in sport, and the practical application of classroom learning.
