Cambridge University Lectures

Last week, Year 12 Religious Studies students attended a series of lectures at Cambridge University. We were able to experience a range of scholars presenting on though provoking themes such as the legalisation of euthanasia, the struggle between autonomy and heteronomy in Christianity through a feminist lens and the over intellectualisation of religious experiences. We also witnessed a brilliant debate about whether consent is enough with regard to sexual ethics and listened to James Orr speak about the complexities of the problem of evil and suffering.
