Posted on: 18/07/2025Students from Year 12 came together to celebrate Culture Day in a spectacular and meaningful way, creating an event that was not only fun but also deeply respectful of the diverse traditions and backgrounds represented within the school community.
The day was meticulously planned by our Head Boy, Elis, and Head Girl, Emmanuella, whose leadership and creativity made the celebration truly exceptional.
The event featured a vibrant mix of performances, including music, dance, and spoken word, which showcased the rich cultural tapestry of our Year 12 cohort. Students also participated in cultural readings that highlighted stories and traditions from around the world, offering a chance for reflection and appreciation.
One of the day's highlights was the highly anticipated fashion show, where students proudly wore attire that reflected their unique cultural heritage, celebrating the beauty of diversity. Additionally, food stalls were set up, offering delicious dishes from various countries, with the proceeds going towards our chosen charity, UNICEF, a cause that is close to everyone's hearts.
This remarkable event not only brought the Year 12 students closer together but also gave them an opportunity to give back to the global community. The success of Culture Day marked the perfect conclusion to an outstanding first year for the Year 12 cohort, leaving everyone with a deep sense of pride, unity, and gratitude for the shared experience.
