At Harris Rainham Sixth Form, we believe that strong communication between home and school is essential to every student’s success. We work closely with parents and carers to ensure you are informed, involved, and supported throughout your child’s sixth form journey.

How We Communicate

We use a range of channels to keep you updated on academic progress, key events, and wider sixth form life:

• Termly Newsletters – Sharing important updates, celebrations, and upcoming opportunities.

• Email Updates – Regular information about curriculum, enrichment, deadlines, and day‑to‑day notices.

• Text Messages Home – Quick reminders and essential alerts sent directly to your phone.

• Phone Calls – Personal contact from staff when we need to discuss progress, attendance, or offer support.

Parent and Carer Events

We also host a number of events throughout the year designed to keep you informed and engaged. These include:

• Year 12 Futures Evening – An opportunity to explore post‑18 pathways, meet staff, and learn how we support students with university, apprenticeships, and careers.

• Additional information evenings and meetings tailored to key stages of the sixth form experience.
